Fuchs Umwelttechnik INRVA type extraction and filtering device with DEKRA-tested fire and explosion protection concept
By order of a large automobile supplier, DEKRA EXAM, specialist department for explosion protection, tested a fire and explosion concept from Fuchs Umwelttechnik which is designed for the extraction and filtering of emissions produced in the laser welding of stainless steel.
The results revealed that the INRVA type extraction and filtering device from Fuchs Umwelttechnik is equipped with all the auxiliary components and control functions for effectively preventing exothermal reaction to emissions from this process.
DEKRA especially points out that targeted inerting of the welding dust with a high percentage of an inert solid must be performed to prevent the formation of an explosive dust/air mixture. The integration of a CO2 extinguisher which limits possible damage to the filters in the event of a fault in the inerting process is also recommended.
Since the INRVA extraction and filtering device complies exactly with the recommendations of DEKRA EXAM in equipment and design, several devices of this type are already being used by the said automobile supplier.
Fuchs Umwelttechnik offers this extraction concept in different sizes with air volumes of 300 m³ to 2400 m³. An individual project planning and support is ensured by qualified development engineers.
Great interest in the TKFVA300 and cyclone pre-separator
The Pantron/Fuchs Umwelttechnik fair booth was a magnet for the professional visitors. Special focus was placed on our latest new developments: the compact TKFVA300 extraction and filtering unit and the cyclone pre-separator. Both systems were convincing in their technical design, their high quality, and their practical possibilities for use in many different industrial applications.
Many concrete customer inquiries from the region
Numerous companies in North and South Carolina took the opportunity to find out about tailor-made extraction and filtering solutions for their specific applications with concrete inquiries on site. Further appointments to visit the companies were arranged during the fair – a clear indication of the great interest in the performance capabilities of our extraction and filtering systems.
