Fuchs Umwelttechnik sponsors the ISC Konstanz

In the course of targeted activities in the field of clean air in the development and manufacturing processes of solar cells and modules, Fuchs Umwelttechnik acts as a sponsor and sustaining member of the International Solar Energy Research Center Konstanz. This puts them on a par with such renowned companies as Bosch, Sunways, Centrotherm, Micron and others. The goal of the ISC Konstanz is quite generally the distribution and application of photovoltaics. The ISC is one of the most acknowledged research institutes internationally in the development of processes for the effective, low-cost manufacture of series producible crystalline SI solar cells and modules. Fuchs Umwelttechnik supplied an MKF type extractor for these development activities which is used for the measurement and filtration of laser emissions which result from the cutting and perforation of solar cells. This device is equipped with a multi-stage filter combination so that the cleaned air can be fed back into the work room. Compact units with air flow rates of approx. 200 - 5000 m³/h are available for similar application cases. Fuchs Umwelttechnik wants to make a contribution to the development of renewable energies with this commitment and at the same time increase its reputation as a competent partner to the photovoltaic industry.
