Microparticle extraction at drinks caps – Fuchs Umwelttechnik supplies the equipment for it

The Eurapack company, as a specialist in the extraction of microparticles at drinks caps, puts its trust in the competence of Fuchs Umwelttechnik in its choice of the suitable extraction and filtering device.

Microparticles in a drink? Who wants that?
To prevent plastic or aluminium particles, that often adhere to the caps, from getting inside the bottles and thus into the drink in the filling lines, Eurapack developed a special blow-off process for the bottle caps with ionised air before the automatic capping process.
Parallel to this, the contaminated air is sucked off and collected and filtered completely by our KKF extraction and filtering device. Either in the KKF190L or KKF320L model, adapted to the application purpose, the equipment of the extraction and filtering device from Fuchs Umwelttechnik consists of a multi-stage filter combination with appropriately high capacity and including a microparticle filter. As a special feature for the food & beverages industry, we equip the particulate filter with an aluminium frame instead of the usual wooden frame.

Automatic filter monitoring by vacuum pressure and differential pressure guarantee operational reliability.

This system can also be retrofitted to existing plants by the way.
