Fuchs Umwelttechnik develops laser safety enclosures
Fuchs Umwelttechnik is working with a key customer on the development of the modular LSK-type laser safety enclosure, bringing its expertise in partnership with mechanical engineering to the field of laser machining. This enclosure provides full protection, acting as a barrier to effective radiation, secondary radiation, and to rays which are reflected and scattered during laser machining processes. The laser safety enclosure is supplied fully assembled and, once installed, it can be linked up to the production and assembly line control system and very quickly put into operation. The modular system comprising aluminium profiles and steel panels can be adapted with speed and efficiency to build high-end customised enclosures which meet a wide and diverse range of specifications. The laser safety enclosure is built as part of a system and is supplied with the relevant documentation for incomplete machines in accordance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.

We scored top marks in all criteria – from quality to on-time delivery – and were confirmed as their preferred supplier.
Carl Haas GmbH, specialist for precision mechanics in plastic processing as well as precision wire and strip parts, rely on the excellent quality standards of our extraction and filtering devices, our outstanding engineering and our customer-orientated strategy.
Fuchs Umwelttechnik sees this result not only as an accolade but also as an incentive: With innovative solutions and a consistent standard of quality we continue to work according to our leitmotif – with our aspirations we are already one step ahead.
As an established equipper for the laser industry, Fuchs Umwelttechnik presented numerous new products and sophisticated extraction and filtering systems for air purification – developed specially for the widest variety of laser applications. Our company has stood for quality, innovation and sustainable solutions for more than four decades.
Fuchs Umwelttechnik's booth attracted large numbers of visitors for the duration of the fair. Professional visitors took the opportunity for intensive talks with our experts and obtained specific information about our systems – numerous guests to the Automatica also showed great interest in our solutions for mechanical engineering and robotics.
The positive feedback and the high demand endorse Fuchs Umwelttechnik in their claim to be the reference for air purification in laser processes. We would like to thank all our visitors and look forward to new projects and successful cooperation.
The new extraction plate for work benches or lab benches. Inconspicuous and highly efficient.
Solvent or adhesive vapours are escaping during your work at the lab bench which you should not inhale?
Or are you battling with ultra-fine particles which contaminate not only the working environment during your activities?
Whether solder fumes, solvent and adhesive vapours or ultra-fine particles – for the complete extraction of these pollutants, the engineers at Fuchs Umwelttechnik have developed the effective MKFAPL5 extraction plate, especially for installation into work benches or laboratory benches.
Installed flush with the bench surface, the extraction plate collects all emissions. The width of 90 cm ensures sufficient space here for a wide, safe working area. Individual dimensions are possible, of course.
MKFAPL5 – the new bench extraction plate: With professional competence and customer orientation, Fuchs Umwelttechnik once again supplies a sophisticated, useful solution for the protection of man and the environment.
